The Table No. 02 menu — Goan courses from sol-kissed elixir to bebinca — lit by candles against a beach-sunset projection

We are strong believers that everything happens for a reason. And maybe Table No. 02 happened to remind us why we started P&A in the first place. To meet people. To make room for new stories. To create a warm little space where you can simply exist — without the weight of being known, without judgement, without expectations. A space to try things you otherwise wouldn't. To say yes to something new. And maybe, leave with people you didn't know you needed.

This table was an extremely personal one for us. Goa holds years of memories for the both of us. For Akshi, it is a second home — a place where she somehow finds herself breathing a little deeper, smiling a little wider, and watches everyone around her do the same. For Pavani, Goa has been a place of firsts. Of trying new things and discovering very strong opinions along the way. Her hatred for trekking, for one 😜. And her love for very, very specific food, for another.

So sharing our Goa felt a little daunting. Because Goa, to most people, is a place to party. But to us, it has always felt like home. And home is a vulnerable thing to share — you never really know if someone else will understand its warmth the way you do. If they'll notice the little things. If they'll love the parts that aren't loud or exciting; the parts that are simply… homely.

So we did it properly: a Goan menu with the meat flown in fresh from Goa, so the ten people at our table could experience it the way we do. And somehow, those ten people walked into this little version of our home like they had always belonged there. Every bite taken with a smile. Every appreciation for a dish. Every story shared across the table. It all felt like someone taking one tiny step closer to understanding our Goa — and, in some strange way, becoming a part of our home too.

From Table 1 to Table 2, a lot was learnt. A lot was changed. And a lot more, we think, was done right. But our favourite thing we took away from this table? Friends who actually want to Murugan together 😜

To the ten wonderful people who graced our home — thank you. For trusting us with your evening. For eating the food that holds pieces of our memories. For laughing loudly, listening closely, and making our little table feel so incredibly full. Every one of you has found a very special place in our hearts.

And maybe that's the whole point of P&A. You come for a seat at the table. And somehow, you leave with a little place in our home. — Love, P&A 🧡
